FreedomFest '08

KBEZ invites you to another summertime family tradition in Tulsa - celebrating the 4th of July along the Arkansas River! Get your family, lawn chairs and blankets and join KBEZ at Tulsa FreedomFest '08 (formerly known as Tulsa Salutes Freedom) and bring your radio with you because the fireworks will be synchronized to the music that will be on KBEZ! Before the fireworks, join Steve & Carly from the KBEZ morning show at Veteran's Park at 21st & Boulder for Tulsa Parks' Annual American Salute, live music, Mayor Taylor leading the "Mayor-thon" one mile fun run, free inflatables for the kids and a lot more! Or join KBEZ's Charlene Lewis and Samantha Matthews at River West Festival Park at 21st and Jackson for food, mobile paintball, face painting, free inflatables for the kids, a rock climbing wall, The Starlight Band, the Parade of Flight Warbirds and a lot more! Then, the fireworks begin after dark with the soundtrack played on 92.9 KBEZ!
