It’s the month for weddings. If you’re going to one, you know it’s an
unspoken rule you’re not supposed to “outshine” the bride. But, you still want to look great, and there
will be a lot of pictures taken. Here
are some tips from Allure magazine:
- Don’t play up any one feature on your face like you would for a
normal party. For example, skip the
smokey-eye look and the bright red lips. But do take extra care with every
feature, eyebrows well-groomed, lashes curled, perfect skin.
- Don’t wear too much makeup.
With digital photography, all that extra foundation will really show up
in the pictures.
- A little concealer under the eyes will brighten them, and hide
any red or purpley tones.
- Think light and fresh with lipstick and eye shadow. Go for warm, beige-y pinks and peachy
nudes. You want to look romantic. Lips should be just a few shades darker than
their natural color.
- Blotting papers are your best friend…they’ll soak up the oil
without adding any extra product to your face.
Extra-tip…don’t forget to
touch-up after wearing sunglasses to get rid of that mark on your nose!
