Almost Spring, which means you might be itching for a new hair style. There are whispers and rumors that the pixie cut might be on its way out. One of the new dos is a choppy, shoulder-length cut…less extreme and more people can wear it.
The loose or messy bun is this season. Ponytails will be hot, too. Loose braids and low-grown-up pig tails are also a trend for Spring. One trend that is definitely not in: hair straightened with an iron. Even straight hair this season tends to be a bit fuller with some waves.
Finally, if you believe you need to change out your shampoo every once in awhile because your hair is too “used to” it, Prevention magazine says that’s a myth. The reason your hair is not behaving is either buildup from heavy conditioners, coloring or the weather. So, you might still want to change your shampoo, but a Pantene scientist says hair is dead and can’t biologically adapt to shampoo.
