Is this the home stretch? It feels like it! Baby Marcus Jon is 5.2 lbs! In two weeks he grew more than a pound!!!  I am officially ready for him to join us!

 

My bag is packed and ready to go...(I hope I have everything I need!)

The biggest chore was deciding what outfit to take for him to come home in! (I packed 5)

 

I've been spending alot of time catching up on sleep. I know that I won't be getting much once the baby is here.

 

Oh did I mention that he's breech? Great! Just what I wanted to hear..."Lindsey, there's a 50 percent chance you'll have to have a c-section". I don't want a c-section!!!! I pray that he will turn! I hear that if I do handstands in the pool, that should help. Any other tips you may have would be great!

So, I made it back safely from Indiana with TONS of great baby goodies from the shower. It was so nice to be home and see family and friends!  I arrived home just in time for my monthly doctor's appointment and I found out that baby Marcus is nearly 4 lbs already! WOW!!! Dr. Nilson says he's going to be a big baby. OUCH! (that's all I can think of)

 

I've got 10 more weeks to wait for this BIG bundle of joy and I'm really getting nervous now!

 

On another note...my mom and aunt came back to Tulsa with me and we finished the nursery! It turned out better than I imagined! It's beautiful! I find myself sitting in the room every evening reading to my tummy. It's just so nice and cheerful  in there!

 Baby Marcus and I are doing great. He should arrive by August 1st! I'm getting extremely nervous! (Labor is what scares me the most) I'm going back to my home state of Indiana this week for a baby shower and then my mom will be returning to Oklahoma with me so we can create a magnificent nursery together! We've decided on a nautical themed room. We're assuming that our son will have a joy for boating and the outdoors just as much as we do! (wishful thinking)
